Bit Torrent for my people

Bit Torrent is a widely used P2P program that is used to transfer files from computer to computer. Great for all kinds of files…ie music, programs, etc. It has very faithful cult following. Today’s path of enlightenment is about to commence.
First you need to get a bit torrent client. Here is a list of clients. I use Azureus as of lately I like it alot but you need to have JAVA installed on computer. If you don’t want to install Java then just use the client called ABC. ABC is easier to use than Azureus so I recommend that for newbies to the downloading game.
The next thing you need is protection from prying eyes. Use PeerGuardian for this purpose. This keeps known bad government IPS and other guys that try to use entrapment tactics from seeing what you sharing. Stick it to the man! PeerGuardian blocks pretty much all connections so don’t use unless you are downloading torrents.
Now that you have installed Azureus and PeerGuardian…now what? Now you need to look for some torrent files. Here are few places to look for files
MEGANOVA - was once the biggest and best place to get all files.
IsoHunt - Lets you search for torrents that you might be looking for
Here is the whole process in a nut shell. Go to NewNova and pick a file. Click on it and next a screen is going to ask where you want to save the file. Pick the spot. Then Azureus starts up and does the rest. Open Peerguardian soon after to keeping the prying eyes away. Now just sit back and wait. Let the torrent run to pick up speed and you will have your file. Best to do this at night before you go to bed. Just let the torrent run throughout the night ( that is what every does so the speeds will be better ) before you go to bed.
